Hey Everyone :

deviantART has removed all of my images, demanding that I submit copies of my model releases. I am a professional photographer and as such have a release for every photograph I shoot. In fact, the release is signed before I even shoot frame one with a model! These releases, in addition to giving me the right to publish my images in any way I see fit, contain the real names, addresses and phone numbers of my models and I simply will not turn that information over to anyone but the proper authorites, should the need arise.

I have enjoyed the contact I have had with members here and wish I could continue, but it appears I cannot.

My question : has anyone else run into this? I have not spoken to a single person I know that this has been an issue. If it has been an issue for you, I sincerely hope you have given it serious thought before turning over this information.
